Shotover Engineering is the largest and longest-serving engineering workshop in the Wakatipu Basin.

Established in 1992 to service the structural steel requirements of Queenstown’s rapidly growing building industry, the company has continued to expand steadily to meet the increasing needs of the region.

Trailers

We have all aspects covered for trailers. We supply Briford trailers, have an extensive range of CM trailer parts in stock, and provide in-house repairs.

We can keep you moving and get you back out working sooner. We have truck lifters which can lift buses and heavy transport in our workshop which makes repairs and maintenance easier, safer and faster, so you can get back to doing what you do best!

Lifting & Shifting

We have more equipment to get your steel on site so you have less to coordinate and less risk. And we partner with IQ Freight, which runs between Invercargill and Queenstown twice a week and can transport water tanks and other awkward, wide loads.

If you need hydraulic hoses manufactured or repaired, our workshop is fully equipped to help you out. We can also repair hydraulic rams and other hydraulic components as required.
